Having started my career in the Indian Pharma industry as a Professional Service Representative to my last assignment as an Executive Vice President at Lupin, was an exciting journey of 30 years.
Mr. R.S. Raghav comes from a family who have been serving the nation as army personnel, for generations, hence he too aspired to join the army. There, some complications and the solidarity that runs down in his veins diverted his focus and shaped him to blend out as a persona interwoven with a high sense of discipline, commitment, integrity and courage which proved out as the turning point for his journey ahead. Mr. R.S. Raghav as an entrepreneur, a leader, and an avid reader believes that Bhagwad Gita has all the philosophical answers, while ‘The fortune at the bottom of the pyramid’ tops the list of his favorite business books. This unquenchable thirst for knowledge has won his numerous trophies akin to ‘5thINDY’S MARCOM Professional of the Year 2011- Pharmaceuticals’, ‘CMO Asia Awards for Excellence in Branding & Marketing’ and ‘Brand Leadership Award’ (2010) conferred by World Brand Congress 2010.
His Professional journey began off as a medical representative in 1985 in Fulford (India) and moved to Lupin in 1986. Mr. Raghav kept on building diverse capabilities as he played various roles such as Regional Sales Manager & General Manager, which ultimately chaired him as Lupin’s Executive Vice President. He delivered value integrated performance consistently during his stint with Lupin and built Non-communicable Diseases portfolios of Lupin like Cardiac, Ant-diabetic and Neuropsychiatry segments with cumulative turnover of 1500 Crores delivering more than 30% EBITDA. The profound capabilities and expertise in IPM and confidence in creating a better value for stakeholders prompted him to lay the foundation of his venture, Oaknet Lifesciences in 2015 which subsequently became Oaknet Healthcare after acquisition of South African MNC Adcock Ingram.
